A message from Southern Vice Commander Giehll concerning Josh Dogs…
Jan 18th, 2010My fellow Sons of the American Legion,
I am Raymond Giehll, III, Southern Vice-Commander of Indiana. Hello to the ones that do not know me. My wife Katie and I have been working on a BIG PROJECT that is dear to our hearts and to many others. We are raising money for JOSH KITS. These kits include a story book which helps kids cope with their fears in the hospital, a golden retriever puppy and a little dog house. I am asking for everyone’s help with this project. Let us make these kids smile and help calm their fears while in the hospital. We are hoping to get as many kits as possible and donate them to Riley’s Childrens Hospital. A copy of the flyer may be downloaded here. Please make enough copies and pass them out to your Squadrons. My wife and I plan on doing this for years to come and this project will be a topic at every meeting I attend. Call at 317-332-4584 or e-mail me if you have any questions at all.
Thank you.
Raymond Giehll, III
Southern Vice Commander
Detachment of Indiana
