29 Aug 2009On July 24, a resolution was introduced in the House of Representatives that honors The American Legion’s 90 years of service to America by recognizing September 16 as American Legion Day, a national day of observance of The American Legion’s goals and ideals in which the country may celebrate, with appropriate programs and activities, the long history of The American Legion and its steadfast and patriotic service to the community, state and nation.
